NanoLight LED Presents Eccentric Appearance and Unmatched Efficiency

The all new unconventional looking 12-watt NanoLight LED bulb grabbed eye balls not for being sleek and stylish, but for its unconventional and eccentric design. However, according to sources this LED light is highly innovative and can save unparalleled amounts of energy.
So what this bulb lacks in the design, it makes up by providing high energy savings. This 100-watt replacement bulb is so efficient that it produces brightness equivalent to 1600 lumens by only using 12 watts of energy. Thus, experts in the industry are hailing this invention as the most efficient light bulb in the world.

Eccentric geometric form?

When you take a look at this NanoLight bulb, the first thing that will probably catch your attention is the unusual geometric pattern. This is actually a printed circuit board that has been folded in a way to give it the shape of a light bulb, and it has been mounted using the various electrical components. Although it may not be the most beautiful thing on earth, this is obviously not the point here.

Who are the developers?

NanoLight has been developed by a San Diego-based team of three – Christian Yan, Gimmy Chu, and Tom Rodigner. They have successfully created a heat sink-free LED light bulb that can easily used as a replacement for 100 or 75 watt bulb while providing the similar advantages of standard incandescent bulbs such as omni-directionality and instant switch-on capabilities that are not found in other CFL or LED bulbs.

Brighter and better at a cheap rate?

NanoLight LED bulbs also boast an impressive life span, as the 10-watt model can last up to 25 years and the 12-watt model can last up to 30 years, based on only 3 hours of use per day. The 12-watt flagship bulb produces 133 lumens per watt and it is 200 percent more than the light produced by any light bulb available in the market. And, price of this low energy consuming bulb? It is a real steal at only $45.
