Yea, your right, there’s an excellent selection of free apps currently on the market, you certainly don’t have to put money into apps to find what you’re looking for. But did you know that for the price of a McDonalds’ happy meal you can actually have real games on your Android? Want to know what you’re missing out on? Here’s a countdown of the Top current apps that yea will cost you a couple a bucks, but no more than an unhealthy McDonald’s lunch.1. Duke Nukem 3D – its Duke Nukem……yea it doesn’t quite cut it on today’s consoles amidst your Gears of War, Halo and Call of Duty, but it certainly stands out from the crowd on the Android. Plus it’s Duke Nukem and he’s 3D!
2. Trial Extreme 2 – no doubt the best Motocross game we’ve seen in a while.
3. ShadowGun – one of the best looking Mobile games ever created according IGN
4. Vingo: SAQ, LCBO, BC Liquor – this lets you keep track all the wines you have in your collection, obviously this is for the Wine enthusiast.
5. Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit – I remember back when I couldn’t optimally run this game on my crappy computer at the time, now you can run it better on your phone….o, the irony.
6. NHL GameCenter Premium – if you like hockey this app was made for you.
7. Elder Sign: Omens – One of the first open world RPG games that set the standard for all other open world RPG’s
8. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations – It still boggles my mind how they managed to port such a sophisticated and intricate game to work so well with a mobile phone. The game looks great.
9. Matrix Reality 3D – This is the most realistic RPG game to date, and yes the Matrix is still a huge part of our culture despite the fact that the second to Matrix movies were……meh.
